"Good, Night Sweet Prince..."
My late husband, Harvey Fuqua, was a Hall of Fame inductee, so hearing about Prince’s sudden transition this morning threw me back to that powerful ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. My son, Kevin Anthony, called and asked me to look at Prince’s Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame acceptance speech and when I did, I was deeply moved by his words. . . and no truer ones were ever spoken. And I quote: “Without real spiritual mentoring, too much freedom can lead to the soul’s decay."
We were created by the divine to be expressions of the divine. Far too often, we think of our gifts as a way to enlarge and glorify the ego rather than to elevate human consciousness. This is not something we are taught in school, and it cannot be learned without spiritual mentoring. Life is an amazing game and as with any other, you must be well coached.
I have dedicated my entire life to sharing my awareness of our purpose here. Thanks to the internet, I don’t have to leave the comfort of my home to share what I know, and what I know could have helped so many of our very talented brothers and sisters.
I wonder, if it would have made a difference for Prince or Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole, Amy Winehouse, Elvis Presley and the list goes on and on.
Remember, who you are is not up to you, but who you say you are, is . . .
I love you.
